"Epicurious showed no fear at The Explorers Club
annual dinner, held at New York City's Waldorf Astoria hotel this past
Saturday evening. Adventurous eaters from across the globe attended the
event, not only to hear keynote speaker Stephen Hawking, but also to
sample exotic animal delicacies. Fried tarantulas on-a-stick were the
biggest hit of the night--so much so that there were none left after the
first 15 minutes."
