I don't think the driver got the message

Lake Road at around 5 a.m., when his vehicle crossed traffic lanes, hit a
sign, a utility pole and the wrecked car.
After the vehicle landed in the high school parking lot, Diamond said, the driver and passenger, a 27-year-old Farwell woman, ran away. She was taken into custody within an hour, but the driver eluded police for several hours before he was captured at around 1 p.m."
